Ray White Mitchelton delivers 100 per cent success at Super Auction Event

Ray White Mitchelton has recorded outstanding results at its recent Super Auction Event, achieving a 100 per cent success rate across all scheduled properties and reaffirming the strength of Brisbane’s north-western property market.

A total of 17 properties were due to go to auction, with 12 selling prior to the event and five selling under the hammer, culminating in more than $23.48 million in total sales value.

Selling principal at Ray White Mitchelton, Rochelle Adgo, said the results reflected intense buyer demand coupled with tight stock levels across the region.

“The north-western Brisbane market is incredibly hot right now, with large numbers of buyers competing for a limited number of quality homes,” Ms Adgo said.

“We’re seeing particularly strong demand in well-renowned, high-growth suburbs, driven by families looking to secure a foothold close to local schools, infrastructure and amenities.

“Supply and demand pressures are absolutely shaping the outcomes we’re achieving.”

The highest-priced sale of the campaign was 11 Harrier Place, Upper Kedron, which sold prior to auction for $2.5 million, while the most competitive auction of the event was 6 Gizerah Street, Mitchelton, attracting nine registered bidders and selling for $1.112 million.

Among the standout success stories were Jonathon and Jacqueline Williams, who both sold and purchased through the Super Auction Event.

The couple sold 11 Illawarra Street, Everton Park prior to auction within the first week on the market for $1,390,000, generating 11 offers, before securing their next home at 66 Buckland Road, Everton Hills for $1,830,000.

“We’re thrilled with the result and also to be moving into our new home. The transition and the whole process was incredibly smooth,” Ms Williams said.

“We actually started working with Rochelle more than two years ago due to nerves and not really wanting to take that leap.

“It was our first time selling a house, and Rochelle and her team completely guided us through the process with their professionalism and deep knowledge of the local market.”

Mr Williams said selling and buying simultaneously could be daunting, particularly for first-time sellers.

“She made us feel comfortable in a very uncomfortable situation. It is frightening and scary going into the unknown, but Rochelle and her team were really great throughout,” he said.

“It’s one thing selling a house, but buying at the same time is really stressful.

“The team were incredibly responsive, broke everything down for us, and really helped us as people who hadn’t been through the process before.”
